A Few Random Inspirational Artists and Their Works

The Thief and the Cobbler - Original Version
I just love the elasticity and fluidity of the animation... And all the patterns. And Vincent Price as Zigzag is, well, price-less.

Flight Facilities - Clair De Lune music video:

I didn't like this at all the first time I saw it on Rage. Admittedly, I hadn't seen the whole thing and what I saw seemed pretentious. Then I incidentally saw it a second time on Rage a few weeks later and then it hit me. No pun intended.
I liked how mellow and understated it was, especially when dealing with murder. But it's the ending that gets me. Very clever.

Journey - "The Robed Figure"
No dialogue, no facial expressions or definitions, no real form or sophistication to the design.... And yet you get a perfect feel for the character just through the movement. This strange being or presence traversing the sands...

One of my favourite digital artists-- it's the style, technique, costumes and the colours that I like the best.
(Strangely, I prefer her wips and sketches to her finished work...)
